2. Non literal Meaning:
A) Speaker's intention meaning or force meaning: The meaning that depends on the speaker's intention. To understand or interpret the meaning they speaker and hear should share common knowledge, general knowledge, background knowledge.
The background knowledge can be personal ( between speaker and hearer) or General (between society)
B) Contextual meaning, utterance meaning : The meaning that depends on the context to interpret.
There are some lexicals that have more than one meaning, but the context limits the suitable meaning.
Ex: The word (kid) has two meanings, baby 👶 and baby goat 🐐
when someone say, "I have 2 kids" the context selects the meaning.
