Morphology is the study of words. It became a separate branch of linguistics in the 19th century

to help understand the relationships between different languages. Morphologists compare word

endings, sound systems, and word-formation patterns to show how languages are related and

how they evolve.

Morphology is the study of the structure and classification of words and the units that make

up words.

What is the different between ambiguity and vagueness in semantics ?

Ambiguity and vagueness are two different types of interpretive uncertainty in semantics.

**Ambiguity** is when a word or sentence has multiple possible meanings. For example, the sentence "I will meet you at the bank" could mean that you will meet the person at a financial institution or at the edge of a river.
